Many men and women from serious criminal or broken backgrounds have incredible influence within their communities’ and circles. Nick’s experience has shown him that there is a lack of people with criminal backgrounds delivering ministry in prisons. Over the years God has enabled Nick to share the Gospel with many men and women of influence and see salvation, transformation and healing. This change spreads throughout their networks, influencing their families, friends and communities: saving souls, changing culture, reducing crime, and creating new father figures and better role models. Nick’s ministry also births leaders who can have an impact and be a credible voice that is heard amongst their own - It destroys the darkness, and heals the pain and anger, advancing God’s Kingdom.

Without the preaching of the Gospel in prisons, pupil referral units and disadvantaged communities, souls are lost. Nick believes that the only remedy is the message of the cross! Clear teaching, discipleship and pastoral care, initiated from the start through music, the gift that the Lord has placed into Nick’s hands, are vital for everything Nick does and achieves.

New Wings Ministries employs the following proven approaches:

  • Use the message of the cross of Jesus Christ fused with music that instrumentally sounds like what the ‘street’ listens to, but with testimony driven stories of redemption to reach a generation lost to darkness and the selfish pulls of the modern day. Nick’s week will consist of prison discipleship courses in prisons in the northwest England off the back of a performance (over the span of his ministry Nick has preached the gospel to over 100,000 people), raising up leaders in the Word of God, training and developing them in their God given gifts, and pushing them closer to the Holy Spirit to then multiply what God has done in their lives

  • Work closely with Councils’ most difficult young men on a one-to-one basis or in group-based sessions in pupil referral units, running 6 - 8 week lyric writing music production courses with the heart of evangelism and discipleship fuelling sessions, bringing hope and change through the Word of God and transformation by the Holy Spirit.
